I was born in 1963; one year before the Tokyo Olympic. From this time, the Shinkansen and the Tokyo tower had been constructed and Japan had entered into the period of rapid economic growth after WWII.When I was child, I had heard the bid sound of piling work anywhere; I say the old residences were broken down to be new buildings and sea and rivers were reclaimed to make roads. That age in Tokyo was the best motif for me having set my face to be a photographer. I shot sceneries to record the history of Tokyo for over 30 years.
